Zucchini is operated by Hayaku Tech Limited, a private company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus on 5 August 2019 under company number HE 400807 (tax identification number 10400807A), with its registered office at Griva Digeni 78, 2nd floor, Office B1, 3101 Limassol, Cyprus. In these Terms, "Hayaku", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Hayaku Tech Limited.
These Terms govern your use of Zucchini, a messenger app and accompanying backend service operated by Hayaku that lets you talk to Claude Code agents running on your own computer. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Zucchini consists of two parts:
Claude Code itself runs on your own machine via the open-source zucchini-spawner. Our backend transmits encrypted message envelopes between your devices and the spawner — it does not execute agents or read message contents.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Zucchini. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.
You retain all ownership of the messages, prompts, attachments, and other content you send through Zucchini ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit Your Content solely as needed to operate the service — sync your chats across your devices, deliver notifications, and route messages to your spawner.
Message bodies are end-to-end encrypted on your device (XChaCha20-Poly1305) before they reach our servers. We store ciphertext only and cannot read the contents of your messages. Metadata required for routing — account identifiers, machine and project names, timestamps — is stored in plaintext.

Zucchini routes your prompts to Claude Code, which is operated by Anthropic, PBC. Your use of Claude Code is subject to Anthropic's own terms and is billed by Anthropic separately, through your own Claude Code account. We are not responsible for Anthropic's pricing, availability, or output. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. Zucchini is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
Sign-in is handled by Stytch and (when you choose them) Apple and Google. Push notifications are delivered by Apple. Attachments are stored on Cloudflare R2. Each of these providers handles your data under their own terms.
Zucchini is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and behavior may change without notice. We aim for high availability but do not provide a service-level guarantee, and we may take the service offline for maintenance or to address security issues. We may also discontinue features or the service as a whole, with reasonable notice where practical.
Zucchini offers an optional auto-renewing subscription called Zucchini Pro, which unlocks running multiple Claude Code agents in parallel. The free tier is limited to one agent running at a time; everything else remains free.
Claude usage itself is billed separately by Anthropic through your own Claude Code account and is independent of your Zucchini Pro subscription.
The Apple Media Services Standard EULA applies to the in-app purchase of Zucchini Pro in addition to these Terms.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any agent output will be accurate or appropriate for your situation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Limassol, Cyprus.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hayaku and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
You may stop using Zucchini at any time and delete your account from the app. Deletion removes your account record and associated rows on our servers, including the encrypted message bodies. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page; significant changes may be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
